I am having trouble with a MAC 5500 cart that when the top cover closes, the display begins to dim darker and darker, then goes out. This happens only when connected to AC power. I have replaced every component from the power cord to the display and everything in between. And I mean every component. Power cord, power supply, top cover/base connectors, main board, display ribbon cable, display power cable, inverter board, inverter board cable, display, backlight....I believe that's everything. And as I said, it only happens when connected to AC. Anyone else have this problem???

Check ur SD card. Make sure you are using the right one. If the memory is higher then it should be, it can cause problems similar to this.
