Dear everyone, In the hemodialysis, water treatment system need to be routinely disinfected. In our hospital we use chemicals, after disinfection process we perform testing water contaminant level. In time waiting for the result of water come out, what are you doing?
- Patients will move to an other hemodialysis and come back when the result come out? or
- Hospital have back up system? or
- Hospital use portable RO machine? or
- Hospital use other solution?
Thank you very much.

Hello, Are you referring to a specific piece of equipment? If so, please provide the manufacturer name and model name.

Hi, I'm not referring to specific piece of equipment. When our hspital do routine maintenance that include: replace new filters, disinfection the pipe from water tank to dialyzer by chemical... so on. After we do that, we need to test contaminant in water, and the time for the result come out is at least 5 days. With some patients that hemodialysis schedule 3 times a week we cannot do it because the water test result still do not have (we cannot run equipment in that situation). So, I want to help me know how you do in yours case.
Thank you so much.
