paper stopped advancing, so unable to print EKG

is there a way to print to a computer using the USB port? I am not sure there are replacement parts to fix the roller which will not advance. Can I instead print through the USB port?. If I can print through the USB port, how to download/print to a computer? Thank you Bev Fingerhood, MD 636-916-5575 bjfltd2@charter.net

Sorry, my mistake, didn't notice  on header "Burdick Eclipse LE".

What's the model and manufacturer of the device (ecg machine), Different manufactures offer different solutions for the printout. If it's older device (about 10 y.o) then maybe newest  LAN printers are not supported at all.  It's hard to suggest sth not having information about the device model.  Possibilities a like:

1. direct connection with LAN printer not supported

2. direct connect with certain kind LAN printers are supported

3. printout via PC with certain kind of  ECG program (ECG's manufacturer's)  used. Also universal printer driver might be an issue in this case!

There is no way to direct print from a Burdick LE. There is no USB port on a LE. Can you check the model again.

I have had the same mechanical problem.  The only solution is to find an Eclipse LE or LE II that has failed for a different reason and transfer the paper handler assembly into your machine.  Look for a "parts or repair" listing on EBay.  That's what I did and it worked.  Sometimes someone will be selling just the paper handler assembly itself.
