You dont need a remote license. The SBC is in the base of the table. Nothing will come up if it doesnt work. Typically it is the supply for the SBC.

The SBC bd. has two batteries on it. One is a NVRAM and the other is a 4 prong square made by Rayovac. The SBC bd is located in the console on the right side behind a panel with three thumb screws. From a unix shell you can use the rsh or cu commands to try to establish comms with the SBC. If the NVRAM is replace it will need to be rebuilt witth all the correct boot parameters. The SBC is not located in the table. The CT/i system has three controllers STC, ETC and OBCR......STC is located on the stantionary frame of the Gantry......ETC located in the Table base.......OBCR located on the rotate frame of the Gantry. Back to the SBC not responding...check cables between Octane comuter, bulkhead and SBC.
