The only training currently offered that allows you to purchase parts is done at the manufacturer site in Yorba Linda California.  They used to train in Minneapolis but closed down that facility half a year ago.  The pinch is that the manufacturer will not sell you parts unless you have attended and passed their training course on the LTV, regardless of what other product you have worked on.  Training is around $2400.00 and is usually a 3 day course.

Honestly if you have less than 15 of the units in your fleet it is more cost effective to have someone else who is already trained do them for you.  The first factor is time..  They are complex, even if you are good with other equipment. Between assembly, disasembly and test time a newly trained biomed will be lucky to get out one unit in two days time unless they are highly skilled and work on the LTV constantly.  Even then the average turn around is two units processed per day with a 12 hour burn in at the end of test.

The second factor is cost.  if you only have a small number of units, you will never make up the cost spent on getting trained and set up in the first place, especially if you do not have a vent tester (note..Fluke VT Plus does not work with LTV,  Certifier FA PLUS, RT200, and PF-3000A do work with LTV) variable DC power supplies, calibrated torque drivers and the manufacturers proprietary motor drive calibration tool.

There are a number of good service groups that can  work on these units.   There are Authorized Service Centers , such as Quality Medical or Bio One. There are highly qualitied 3rd party service providers like Mobile Medical Repair and Certa Biomedical Repair Services, and of course the Manufacturer Factory can do them in California.

Hope this helps a bit.
