Mortara ELI 280 touch screen hard to press

The touch screen is hard to press. I calibrated the screen, and it is still very hard to push.

Most likely a worn out faulty touchscreen

Other than the calibration there is not other setting to adjust the screen. Please try the calibration again using something pointy but not sharp. Like a pen. Do not use a finger. Take care to press as close to the center of the plus sign as possible. We have seen where pressing even 1/4 inch any direction will put the touch itself off my as much as a line. If that does not correct the touch capability then the LCD/upper housing asembly or the controller card attached to the upper housing will need to be replaced. There is no way to determine which part may have the problem except for replacement and testing. Please contact Welch Allyn Cardiology tech support for assistance mor_tech.support@welchallyn.com

Turn the unit off and try cleaning it with a LCD glass cleaner or damp rag.
