Injector medrad dual

Hello folks, I´d like to know if you can help me to fix the next problem "The fixing tip of the injector is stuck. Remove the syringe (if installed) and make sure that the fixation tip moves freely. (A)"

The tip is likely either broken or there is a failure of the sensor inside the front tip.  The replacement of the tip and the sensor is pretty involved, as there are 2 springs in the front tip which must be installed blind and under tension.  I don't generally recommend this being done in the field without experience.  I would recommend a depot repair.  Please contact my office to discuss options in further detail.  888-667-1062

Check the pin at the piston tip to see if it moves freely. You should be able to easily push it in with your finger and it should spring back out. If it does not move it may be fouled with contrast. Also, the whole tip should turn about 1/4 of a turn and snap back.

Take front cover off the head, put a syringe on and twist making sure the plastic flag is going into the sensor board. I had a problem where the flag was going behind the sensor board instead of into. I had  to remove the plastic flag and straight it. The problem reported was the head would not always recognize The syringe being installed
