Battery

Open the paper tray by removing the paper door. Remove the paper. Just inside the bottom of the paper drawer is a metal plate. Probably held in place by 2 strips of tape. Remove the tape, place a finger in the hole in the metal plate, lift up a little and the plate will slide upwards or downwards and then lift all the way up. The wires seen are on a connector. The wires can be pulled down to disconnect the battery from the socket.
