How do we remove all patient data from the computer hard drive on the Algo 5? There is nothing in any menus and no information in either the user or service manual on how to remove patient data from the machine.

Have you figured out how to delete the patient data from the hard drive yet? I'm at a loss as well.

nat_health - we found out there are 2 options depending on the software versions. 1. Wipe the hard drive and reload all the software, hopefully the original copies with the license keys were kept when purchasing the machine. 2. If the SW version allows, archiving the patient data which has the option to delete it. This may mean archiving the data to a USB drive and then using software to wipe the USB drive completely to prevent recovery. Unfortunately, if you want to ensure no recovery off the internal hard drive of the deleted data, then the empty space on the ALGO 5 hard drive also needs wiped which means getting service level acces to the operating system.
