To be specific, the issue we are having seems to be the hydraulic valve which we are guessing could be clogged, or solinoid possibly??Everything else on the table works fine, the table will not go down...the base legs go up and down locking the table and everything else works except lowering the column. We can hear the pump and motor turning when the switch is pushed but no column movement. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

First, could the column be in a bind? Is it extended to its max? Is there much play or lash in the column bearing slides when you pull up or push down on the end of the table? Do you see any bronze half moon shaped sleeves laying in the base? (Item 6) Is there still adequate fluid in the reservoir? Are your results the same when using the manual override switches?
S5 & S6 raise and lower the column (respectively). These are the bottom 2 valves on the control block opposite of each other. S5 is on the foot side and S6 is on the head side of the block.
*IMPORTANT* Support the top before removing any hydraulic lines or valve cartridges!!
If the valve is actuating, there is a check valve cartrige where the line attaches that could be stuck or the valve cartridge itself may not be opening on the S6 valve.
If your s/n starts with 04 or you have blue anodized control blocks... its time for a new table.

Thanks for the response and info first off!
It is not a blue block or 04 model and there is no bronze half moon in base, not much play, and it is extended to max no I think. Is there a way to check the valve and solenoid, other than swapping? Plenty of fluid but is it ok to use any AW32 hydraulic fluid in this system?

Yes, Chevron AW-32 is the spec for that unit.
You can check for magentism with a ferrous piece of metal on the top of the valve coil with the down function activated. Check for 24VDC on the 2 wires with the down function activated. Check for proper resistance across the terminals of the valve coil, should be ~47 OHMS. If all that checks out, you're next step will be in the hydraulics. I would get a new valve cartrige and check valve parts and just plan to swap them out once you break in to it. Don't forget new banjo bolt crush gaskets.
REMEMBER - Support the top! We use a hoist and a rigging sling, I have used saw horses and blocks or built a frame from 2x4's just under the clamp rails down each side of the table.
