I wish I could help more to solve your problem faster. Not exactly a panacea. grin.

Depending upon what is wrong with the laser, you could fix it yourself, or you may need another laser. The best source that our small hospital has found for used inexpensive equipment is Mazree.com auctions. They help to save the purchasing department's budget.
