NOTE: ALL FILES DELETED ARE GONE AND CAN’T BE RECOVERED
- Enter the command prompt area by selecting the Ctrl-Alt-Shift- and Backspace keys at one time.
- Enter User Name “root”
- Enter Password “batman”
- Change to study directory- type cd study
- List the names of the studies by typing ls
- NOTE: If you type ls | more this will give a list of studies with the oldest at the top.
- Determine which files you are deleting they will have a pattern to them.
- Type rm –r (filename*)
- Type ls to validate removal (or ls | more if you used that command)
- To remove all records type rm –r *
- NOTE THIS IS A ONE WAY REMOVAL IT CAN NOT BE UNDONE!
- TYPE shutdown and let the quest reboot
