Lamp not coming on

I have a new power supply and new socket and new lamp. I have 6 volts at the lamp socket and it will not light it. I have tried 3 lamps also. Any ideas?

Yes checked all contacts. It's crazy. The pot works fine also. Goes from 1.9 volts to 5.98 volts

What is recommended wattage for this equipment.  Also, what manufacturer, model number?  If all your parts are new, I would go back to company you purchased from and have them replace the parts.  If it is the Unico 380, that is supposed to be an LED lamp and should last you forever.  (At least 50K hours.)

Microscope Man.
