Does anyone know if the temperature sensor in a Microm 505/520/525 (p/n 330320) is a PT1000?
[The manual for the 550 says that sensor is a PT1000, but it's a different p/n.]

Regret I do not have the temperature sensor information. I am looking for the service manual for the Microm 550. Any chance I could obtain it. Cannot find on the web.

Check "Documents" under "Thermo Scientific - Microm HM 550" - the service manual is there.

Hi Ross,
Thanks for the info about the manual for the Microm HM550 manual. Although it is an extensive 148 page user manual I need the service manual. We have an on-campus electronics repair person. He has done all he can without the elctronics schematic. I called up Thermo and thru a chain of phone calls was told they will not provide the service manual or any schematics from it. Was hoping someone had a PDF copy and could share. Thanks for your help.

Hi Nick,
Check again. They've been doing some consolidating. The HM550 had been listed in two different places, but is now listed as "Richard-Allan Scientific - Microm HM550." The service manual is there (it's called "RAS Training manual").

Fantastic. The Service Manual for the Richard-Allan Scientific - HM 550 cryostat was there and available as a PDF file (and the Operator's Manual also). Now have some hope in repairing it.
