Run a "Data Acqusition Test". Normally, that fixes this for me.

1. Disconnect the foot switch with the laser off
2. Hold down the standby button and turn the laser on. Keep the standby button down while you are turning it on and until you see 0 in the watts display then let it up.
3. Press the standby button again don’t hold it down you should get 20 in the watts display.
4. Press the standby button again don’t hold it down you should get 0 in the watts display.
5. Press the up arrow for increasing the watts. You should see the diamond flashing in the right hand display that tells you it is running.
6. Don’t unplug or turn off until you see the (check ok) like when it’s done calibrating in the right hand display. It takes about 15 minutes for this to happen.
7. Then turn the laser off.
8. Plug the foot pedal back in.
9. Let the laser sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
10. Turn on and calibrate.
