Is it possible to add a USB card to a GE OEC 9800 VAS-8 C-arm for image output? Jpeg or bmp, not DICOM format. Possibly by taking out the PC Card drive or 3 1/2 floppy drive? The system has the upgraded motherboard which had a USB port internally so Im assuming it would recognize a USB card in respect to drivers... Any advice on how to accomplish this would greatly appreciated. Thanks and stay safe everyone...

OEC 9800 VAS-8 image output to USB option?

Hello, The Medicapture is the best way to achieve this.
The 9800 is not upgradeable to USB except for an external add-on.
Please keep us in mind for future support and parts.

I had used the Medicapture device, but it unfortunately doesn't have the ability to label the images with the patient info. All image files are just sequentially numbered. The native PC meathod segregates the image files by patient exam and labels the folder with the patient info. Is there a way to tap the port the PC Card uses or other USB output that would output the images in this native format? The Medicapture only grabs static images from the video output.
Thanks,
