CNS is not saving any changed settings and does not allow ORG to connect.

Greetings I'm having some issues with a new CNS 9701. I'm trying to connect a Multiple Patient Receiver ORG-9700, when i plug in the connection cable It shows a link light staying solid and a blinking RX light. The CNS however is not allowing me to change anything. The ORG Setting tab says 'No data available' and none of the changes i make in system setup are saving. The system seems to be trying to communicate with the previous bedside monitors it was connected to and will not currently allow me to discharge patients on certain beds where i see 'transferring' or 'communication loss' messages.
