A colleague is donating their old C-MAC 8401XDK to our medical mission- it was taken out of use due to the battery being depleted- is is possible to replace the built-in battery, or will I need to go directly to Storz for service?

As a followup to this, we had reached out to Karl Storz who informed us the 8401XD C-MAC PM was now service-obsolete, so we began to perform the battery replacements ourselves - if you require a battery replacement for your 8401XD C-MAC PM, please contact me:
