Sudden report of SRAM error

Any thoughts on what would cause an abrupt appearance of an SRAM error message, and whether or not it is a straightforward fix, given the age of the monitor?

What is the name of the manufacturer and model of the equipment you are working on?

Sorry!  It is a Datex Ohmeda Cardiocap 5 multifunction monitor.  I am not a technician, but the end-user.  I am wondering if it is simply better to retire my monitor rather than repair it.

Thanks

The Cardio Cap 5's have an internal battery(SRAM).

when the sram battery dies you recieve the message. We typically change them every 2-3 years, to avoid the message.

we stock the batteries and can replace them at ReNew Biomedical. 844-425-0987
