RE: Infusion Pump Report Post

There are multiple 3rd party companies that are able to repair these units at a reduced cost. The company I use typically replaces the oscillators when this problem is noted. I have not had any luck locating this (or most) parts for purchase through Baxter or any 3rd party service. I would be curious if anyone else on here has.

Chris - thanks for the info and insight. Can you advise contact info for any of these companies?

I've received this error before when testing the device if you're re-using IV lines during testing. If you're testing with an older IV line, toss it and use a new one for testing.
If an end user is receiving this error with a new IV line, then the load point 2 sensor will need to be cleaned gently (no sharp objects). After it's been cleaned, I would suggest calibrating the sensor as well.
A 3rd party Sigma Infusion pump repair company I love to use is Elite Biomedical. They always resolve the issue with a quick turn around time. Hope this helps!

If you are reusing IV lines while testing the gadget, I have previously had this issue. Use a fresh IV line for testing instead of an old one if you are using one.
