Alaris 8100 channel error 200.5040 replace channel with an operational unit as soon as possible. Any ideas what is causing this error?

this error is a logic error caused by incompatibility between the flashed 8100 and the 8015, reflash the module and/or PCU

you need the maintenance program then go to the 8015 option
Choose the "flash" module option and follow the prompts to "flash" the program. Do the same for the 8100 module that way you are sure that they are on the same version. If you don't have the maintenance program, contact BD Carefusion (800) 854-7128 or a 3rd party company. Without the program you cannot hope to do the PM on any pump
