Hologic Selenia Lorad 3d function?

Hi, Our Lorad broke down and I'm trying to figure out if it has a 3d image (tomosynthesis) capability or does it only take 2d images? If it is only capable of 2d images will recommend an upgrade. Thanks in advance!

let me clarify all about hologic mammo

Hologic selenia only makes 2D images
hologic selenia Dimensions (tomo) makes 2D and 3D images

unfortunately if you have a hologic selenia (you can't do a software or hardware update to get 3D images)
They are totally different machines in technology

I can help you repair your hologic selenia equipment

The Selenia Lorad is the older 2D only system and does not have a path to be upgraded to 3D.

The Hologic Selenia Dimensions and 3Dimensions are Hologic's new 3D capable Mammo Systems.

Contact Hologic at (877) 371-4372 for help purchasing a new 3D unit!
