Has anyone had an issue with the C-Arm drifting.? I have looked at the service manual but cant find anything.

The arm will not stay in any position unless you lock it. Is that normal?

1. any particular reason for posting your answer 8 times?
2. if you are talking about it drifting down toward the floor, you need to replace the arm, as the gas tubes are weak. Hologic advises against repairing the arm in the field. We have replacements on an "exchange" basis. What is your serial # ?

yeah you just need a new flex arm for your Hologic InSight 2. Do you have the older style flex arm (metal side covers) or the newer style which has plastic covers on the side?
