Room numbers
RE: Vital Signs/Multi-Parameter Report Post
I just want to say that having a fixed or flex system matters.
In order to change the room numbers, do the following:
First open the Config Wizard, this will take you out of monitoring mode so be sure to inform your staff. Now navigate to the Equipment Setup Page, it should like the 5th or 6th page in. On this page in the top left you will see your clinical units this will also tell you if you are in Fixed or Flex mode. In the bottom left you will see all of your labels, your Bed, Monitor and Tele labels. In the center those are your switches that all your bedsides are connected to, when you select one, it will show all of the, if any, beds assigned to that switch. The right half of the screen is where your bed, equipment and tele labels are assigned.
First, you will need to enter all of your new bed labels in the list on the bottom left. (to add Bed labels, make sure the Bed Label radial button is selected) you will then have to use the right hand side of the screen to unassign the old bed labels and then assign the new bed labels to the proper ports.
If you are in Fixed mode, that should be it, you will most likely need to reboot all of the mointors once the central comes back on line. If you are in Flex mode you will have to not only reboot the bedsides but you will need to reassign all of the beds to the central.
**As always before performing work on a central or server, please remember to create an archive and make sure the affected Clinical Unit(s) prints or exports any data that they might need, as there is always the possibilty of data loss.
If you have any other questions or would like further support, please know you can always call us here at USOC Medical 1-855-888-USOC(8762)
