What model, guilitine door or hinged who makes it?

Getinge 8666. Door is a raise to close, slides down front to open.

Are you sure there isn't an obstruction keeping the counterweight from going all the way down? Otherwise I believe there are turnbuckle style adjustment bolts on either side of the counterweight cables.?.

No counterweights on this one. Cable wraps around pully to raise.

Sorry, I just realized this is a washer, not a sterilizer. I've yet to encounter one of these in the wild. Has to be a switch or sensor somewhere to indicate door closed. Could it be an adjustment of that switches position is all that's needed?

Well, we figured it out. The pivot at the bottom of the door had come loose. This door lifts up and then is oulled back against the gasket to seal.  Gettinge Decomat model 8666
