External keyboard issue

hey, guys so, I change the battery of the CMOS and trying to set the the bios. systems boots up, I press delete to get to the CMOS settings, after that. I cant do anything, press every button nothing happens. I change different keyboards same thing happens. i can only press delete to get to the CMOS setting. Anybody know what my issues is? where to look to solve the issue?
