Why do you need to disassemble it?  For repairs or for shipping?

I need it for shipping.  I am moving it about 45 miles away.  Wanted to transport it easier?

At bottom of this page is a small photo of M690.  Notice the orange knob on side of arm.  You need to loosen this knob enough to lift up the entire arm with optics head included.  This is a two man job, especially if you have never done it before.  Wrap optics in bubble wrap and transport the head/arm and the stand.  Be careful when removing the arm and replacing it.  You need to make sure you line up the pin into the hole when reassembling it.  Or, it may be worth it to hire someone to move it and reassemble it for you.  If you have purchased it from a broker or Ebay, you may need someone to check out the optics and all the mechanical and electrical functions as well.  May save you some money in the long run.  There are several microscope companies that can do it properly.  Good luck.  If you wish, you can contact me for suggestions of companies that are reliable near you.
