My SL-8 battery has died.. How do you replace it? Anyone have a part number or know how to open the unit without destroying it?

Hello Stan,
The battery on the SimSlim can definitely be replaced. We recommend it come to the factory as the unit does need to be re-calibrated once the battery is replaced. If you wouldn't mind providing your contact info, would be happy to send you pricing and an RMA # so you can send it in for service.
Once replaced, the SimSlim battery should run for another 7-10 years before you need to have it serviced again.
