Battery Power?

Are the Vigilance II monitor battery powered? I am asking this because one of the department (at the hospital I work at) sent one of these units down to the shop with the complain of "the unit will not hold a charge."

A quck scan of the operators manual does not mention anything about battery power.  It does have this statement:

Mains power quality should be that of a typical commercial and/or hospital environment. If the user of the Vigilance II monitor requires continued operation during power mains interruptions, it is recommended that the Vigilance II monitor be powered from an uninterruptible power supply or battery.
