Error E1050 high voltage

Good day Can someone pease assist? The Ziehm solo unit stopped screening and presented a error E1050 error. I hope it is not the tube or generator itself? This unit is 7 years old. If possible can i have a service manual as well. Thank you in advance. Pierre

HI Pierre ,

warm Greetings !!

Kindly let me know the SW Version . Seems Like Generator problem , try to do Tube Sesoning , U 662 may be changed and need to update the SW as well. Here is the Problem History and Service undertaken ,

Nature Of  Problem   :

Intermittently  No X ray , Error 1050 appears in Zivi Log.

Service undertaken :

1. Checked all Possible loose connections of Image memory, Main Interface Board and Generator

2. Checked the Input DC Voltage to Generator; 24 VDC & 110VDC; Found Normal

3. Updated the Equipment host software to 5.30.3 SP9

4. Changed the Generator Supervisor board (u662) and Programmed ; But Problem remains same

5. Measured the generator Input Voltages

(i)  Voltage from FG 9938 is 23.8 VDC - With Exposure & Without Exposure; Found Normal

(ii) High voltage = 112.5 VDC at 40 kV , 2.0 mA - Without Exposure; No Error

(iii) High voltage = 111.8 VDC at 40 kV , 2.0 mA - With Exposure; No Error

(iv) High voltage = 125.6 VDC at 63 kV , 5.0 mA - With Exposure; No Error

(vi). High voltage drops down to 71 VDC FROM 125.6 VDC at 63 kV , 5 mA; With Exposure; Error Appeared

6. The equipment has been checked with different modes , But still the error 1050 appears when the kV or mA value goes high .

We tried to do Tube Seasoning; But Problem remains same.

Good day

Thank you so much for your assistance. Following the same steps as described the E1050 remained. It can only suggest a generator problem. In previous Zivi log files the error was intermittend. Now the error is permanent with no dose emitted. Did you eventually replaced the entire generator? Is it possible to pin point a problem within the generator instead of replacing the entire unit?

An E1050 is almost always a generator replacement error.
