It's an imbalance error. Check that the centrifuge is leveled, the load is balanced, nothing is stuck in the tube holders, rotor is tight.

Assuming your not running an imbalanced load, if using a swing bucket rotor, remove the buckets and perform a run. If the error is gone check the buckets to ensure there are no mismatched buckets (they have wieght values stamped on them) and/or adapter pieces (they weigh enough to trigger an imbalance eror) that would cause an imbalance.Ensure the pivot points are lubricated.
If all this checks out use customer service function 6 to check the imbalance sensor idle value (670 +/- 100). Does the value change as to push/pull the motor from side to side? Yes, the sensor is working. No, it's not.
