I have bought a Varic (second hand) gen 1 with PC M450 and get PC get the error can not boot to software.
I tried to apply the VB13C package kit (image system VB13C + ASPIA VB13C bugfix 1) not include Bios cd.
I already check Bios is ok, the battery is good, still, identify 3 HDD. I am following Siemens Arcadis Software Installation_VB13C Bugfix 1 (SPR2-310.816.02.05.02.pdf) .
After step 1: BIOS settings, PC boot again but BIOS setting not installed and in monitor show error "bad command and file name".
Does anyone have an idea or suggestions in that case?

Help to reinstall software VB13C for Varic Gen 1 (error in decription)

Its very important the BIOS is correctly setup prior to software install.
Check the BIOS battery voltage if not 3.2V (or at least 3.1V) replace it.
Make sure BIOS date & time is correct (Bear in mind ut could be month first!).
Disconnect Main system. Unplug Ethernet socket from PC rear, Switch off Sony paper printer (if installed).
Set BIOS to default (F9).
Select advanced then USB BIOS Supported Devices, Checge from Auto to Keyboard/Mouse.
Save & exit BIOS. With BIOS disk in drive.
Wait for the 'BIOS installtion done - System ready for software installation' appears Successful. The DVD drive will eject, leave DVD in drive.
Press The reset button under keyboard & restart system.
PC will start the second install stage.
Wait for the screen message: 'BIOS Installed - HIPPA Installed'.
Remove DVD & restart system again to see what happens.
If you don't have BIOS DVD, then you can use the VB13C software DVD's. Do same as above. But, at end on first stage you will see a message to press any key to continue with software install. If you eject Disk & restart PC.
Reason, the first step of VB13C install is to install the BIOS. If the software is OK then system should start-up, if not......
You should check to make sure all e HDD's are connected in correct order!
If 3 HDD are in correct order & system will still not run syngo will need to reload software completely.
If installing VB13C completely, do the BIOS setup as I described earlier & run VB13C Disk 1 & Disk 2 when prompted.
During install a window will appear stating: New hardware installed select yes to continue. DO NOT PRESS YES, ignore this message & allow software to continue & finish install.

sorry for late reply, what I meant by HDD in correct order, I mean none of the HDD have been swapped around within the PC.
The drive letters should be C: main operating system, D: & E: drives visible with in windows file manager.
