I need to replace the video printer.
To do it, i need to get a service password from Siemens, to setup, or I can just replace the video printers? There is any way to replace those printers without buying password?

as long as the video cable connection is a BNC cable, you can simply replace the printer. If it uses a USB cable, you might need to install a driver

The password is fixed (not variable).
It all depends on which version Siremobil Compact & Memoskop used you have. the model nuber would help.
Printer connection depends upon how the 897 was connected. If connected via BNC (analogue) and using the 3.5mm jack as the remote trigger. Then swapping the printer should work without problem (depending upon how the Sony 970 is programmed within menu.
If the old 897 was connected using USB (Digital) then you will need to update the SM-Compact with correct drivers, but just in case I would try printing via 970 first to see if it works OK. You might be lucky & drivers are compatible.
If you go to the Siemens documents website you should find the Sony UP-970AD printer install instructions for accessing windows level file manager.
A little more details would help.

The case is solved. Since printers used USB connection, we access Windows level and changed the main printer.
