Control panel/Deck becomes unresponsive

Hi. We've had a new issue on our brand new e95 where the deck/control panel becomes unresponsive. The system is otherwise continuing to work well including the touchscreen and the main system (main screen). We've been having to hard restart by holding the power button. Has anyone come across an issue like this where all of the buttons on the control deck stop responding?

I haven't seen this particular problem, but your description gives some good hints. To go any further I'd need to know if you have R1, R2, R3, or R4 and what software level you're at. 
Could be the USB controller in the touch panel, a loose USB cable connection between bulkhead board and touch panel, or the USB from the touch pane to the lower OP. I'd start by checking for loose connections and pinched cables behind the Upper and Lower OPs and at the BEP. 
 

Just to clarify, you have no trackball, no keyboard, no lights on the buttons, and no button response from the lower OP, but touch and video on the upper are still working? Let me know and I'll try to help you out. Also, what is the System ID? 


It wasn’t broken until I fixed it.
