Head rises about 2 inches stops and goes back down
RE: Bed Report Post

Very common problem with this model of bed... the CPR limit switch is most likely clogged with lint, remove seat section cover and cover pan/air system blower (if equiped with)in the middle ofthe bed, then at the base of the head drive gear you will find the CPR limit remove the lint ( helps to run the motor up the 2 inches then cut off power so the switch is accessisble) reassemble test by putting head up 15 diag. pull the CPR release handle to make sure it resets without hanging up.

Hi Kenneth, I've removed the seat section and can see the CPR release mechanism but I'm not finding the limit switch. I can see the gear coupling where it connects to the motor, I can hear the switch clicking, but where is the little devil?
Thanks very much for your help.

working from the CPR release frame base/shoe (white plastic shoe/glide, this what makes contact with the limit switch) left hand side when facing the foot of the bed, look for a black littlle tab that sticks out from the frame/deck about 4 inches behind and inline with the shoe, then clean and test.
Your welcome :)
