Many IV pumps with same error

Clean Load port # 2. I have many pumps that go down with this error. Any suggestions. Thank you Andy

Baxter's suggestion is to clean load point 2 with a cotton swab and distilled water.  This doesn't seem to work very often.

The part that is usually replaced when I send these pumps to Baxter or 3rd party companies is the ultrasonic sensor (Part number 35711-S-988).  I haven't been able to find this part for sale anywhere.

Depending on the software version of your pumps there is also a calibration procedure that I have had some success with.  It requires a different service passcode.  You'll know if your software will allow you to calibrate if the pump takes the password.  If it doesn't, your software is not the right version and you'll most likely have to send the pump in for repair.  The other password is 8961.

A separate service PIN is needed for this.  Pump acceptance of the password will indicate whether or not your program supports calibration. It doesn't appear like this is very effective.

This requires a different service PIN.  Whether your program enables calibration will be shown by the pump's acceptance of the password. This doesn't seem to be working all that well.
