Hello, I am a biomed and working on a Skytron Hercules 6500 hd table. When hitting the kidney down button, the leg section goes up. any thoughts on possible cause?

Are you using the remote exclusively? I'd remove the remote and use the base control switches if yours has them. If that doesn't help, disconnect them and try the hand control again, after that look at the your control board for anythign causing a short
