The monitor all of a sudden says check sample gas out And stop displaying results for gas monitoring. I changed the d-fend for a new one without success.

Try running the General checks for gas system components, section 7.4.6 page 7-14 in the Service Manual.

Sample gas out is a waste gas output connection located on the rear of the monitor. Make sure it isn't blocked.
