Triggering without the footswitch

For testing purposes, you can simulate the footswitch by shorting pins together in the footswitch receptacle with a paperclip. I would not recommend this for use with a patient. Think of the receptacle as a clock with pins at 10 o'clock, 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock. 2 & 8 are common, 4 is max and 10 is min. Use a paperclip to short pins 2, 8, plus whichever intensity you wish to activate.
