Won’t turn on after cleaning and refilling

Besides closing the drain and plugging it in is there something I need to do to get this on? And is the front light on the lower part of the unit a quick way to confirm it’s working? I hate to have to wait two hours to see if temp changes at all.

Make sure the breaker is on and you have a good, working outlet. The pilot light should come on if it is heating, but it may be burned out. Make sure the overtemp light on the back is not on. Push the reset button if it is. Check the fuses.
