How do you select between neonate and adult mode, both per patient and as default? I do not see this setting described anywhere in the documentation. One medwrench user said that startup mode is somewhere in the configuration settings but none of those settings appears to change the mode. -Thanks

How to set neonate vs. adult mode

If there’s no way to set it then then monitor will do it automatically according to the cuff size it senses.

from the user manual:
This setting is available for two patient types: adult and neonate. The adult setting is applicable to both adult and pediatric determinations.
1. Press the Menu button. The INFLATE PRESSURE indicator flashes, and—at the same time—the ADULT indicator and the value in the Systolic window light showing you that the INFLATE PRESSURE for ADULT setting is ready to be changed.
2. To change the associated value, simply use the +/- button to increment or decrement, respectively.
3. Press the Menu button again. The INFLATE PRESSURE indicator flashes, and—at the same time—the NEONATE indicator and the value in the Systolic window light showing you that the INFLATE PRESSURE for NEONATE setting is ready to be changed.
4. To change the associated value, simply use the +/- button to increment or decrement, respectively.

Chris, thank you for your reply however the settings you described do not address the issue. Those settings affect the pressures used when in adult or neonate mode. The settings do not address how to get the V100 into adult or neonate mode for patient measurements.

Depending on cuff size, it should automatically inflate to the pressure for the cuff size hence the correct mode…neonate or adult
