Ge voluson s8

Just bought refurbished. Probes work on other machine but when I connect to this machine, it keeps telling me there’s an error connecting probe 106 to the port. Any suggestions?

Does it happen in all ports? It may be a bad Probe Interface Board

Send here probe model name and system sw version. Maybe there is version mismatch.

Its a voluson s8 and the probes are listed on GE’s site. Rab 6 rs and ic 9 rs

RAB6- RS is supported by Voluson S8 from BT14 and higher versions.

IC9-RS is supported by Voluson S8 from BT16 and higher versions.

Make sure, that you have compatible version of the system.

How to check system version: UTILITIES > SYSTEM SETUP > ADMINISTRATION > SYSTEM INFO tab. And check the Application Software version.

If everything is ok and system version is compatible, then you should check system log and run system diagnostics to define the problem. If you have some questions or need support - email me: governor.deadline@gmail.com

It wont let me do anything without a probe connected. Cant get to utilities:(  is this normal?

I am told by seller its 2014 BT 13 

Is that the problem ?  Wrong probes?
