No image when Flu. , KV drive maximum.

Hi,

Philips BV Pulsera  has  no image when Flu., kv value goes up to max, sometimes error M303 "mA guarding failure" sometimes (most) no error.

I checked Image Intensifier and II power supply are good.

I changed the umbilical cord and the symptoms are still the same. Please advise.

Chao.

Hello. I am from Arch Medical.

That error code means there is a deviation between your desired and measured mA that is too large. Filament calibration is required in which you will need the Philips IST client and the BV scope program on a service laptop in order to perform. If filament calibration fails to complete, then you are looking at issue with your tank or your tube most likely.

I know you have a Philips system, but in a GE OEC c-arm these symptoms are often caused by no video signal from the camera on the II. Perhaps that is also your issue, as well? When the system sees no video signal, it interprets that as no image (i.e., no light) is present on the II for the camera to see because the x-ray output by the tube is not strong enough to get through the thickness of the patient. It therefore drives the x-ray power to max KV and mA in an attempt to get a good image. No video signal in a GE OEC is usually due to a broken video cable that carries the video signal from the camera to the generator. This necessitates the replacement of the high-voltage cable.

Thanks Gordon01, Thanks CharlieS.

I tried to move the camera up a bit. to see the screen of I.I. and find that there is no image while flu.

The problem therefore point to Power Supply or I.I.

I need advice on how to measure the power of Power Supply.

Best regards,

Chao.

Hi,

I measure the I.I. power supply as follow

A   = 7.48 v
G2 = 6.62 v

G3 = 2.882 v

C   = 6.62 v

I also measure X12 ii / TV Voltage = 29.43v

That's correct or not. Please advise.

Regards,

Chao.

Hi,

After I clean the ii power supply connectors and sockets, it works. But I get M 208 : Subsystem error, system still available. It's possible to continue.
I will post a new subject.

Regards,

Chao.
