Trying to update patient info on a study already done. For some reason the study won't go to the PACS without an id number. Like a chart number or something. I go to edit the info and it accepts it but doesn't apply it to the study. What am I doing wrong?
*** Found the fix **** Have to use the edit functions with the study. Not across the top.

When you edit patient info in the directory screen the software is expecting you to then scan the patient. If you want to update an already scanned patient you have to analyze those particular exams then click on the patient name in the bottom right to edit the demographic info on that exam.
