Hi Grim,
You will need a new CR2032 coin style battery and it is located on the CPU board. You will also need a 3mm allen wrench to remove the side covers. The screws keeping the sides on are located along the top row of vent holes on the sides of the machine. Two per side. The CPU board is mounted above the cooling fans, right in the middle of the machine.
