Activate Worklist

Hello,

I need to configure the Worklist on the Voluson S8 and Voluson S10.

Apparently this part is disabled on both machines.

I need the Service password or the service manual which explains

how to activate and configure the Worklist. Can someone help me?

Equipment: Voluson S8 and S10

Hello, you need a service dongle password and maybe you need license string with dicom option as well, so I can assist you with that too. Email me at governor.deadline@gmail.com.

You don't need the service password. If you can tell me the software level, I can tell you how to do this. Look for the Utilities or Setup key/button and select System Info. The software version will be at the top of the right section of the System Info. It will show BT and Extension level. BT will be 12 through 22, depending on the age of the system.

It wasn’t broken until I fixed it.

Press Utility button found in control panel.

Select System Setup

Select Connectivity

Select Device Setup

Select Dicom Config

in dicom config windows Select "Add button" in the lower left corner of the window

in Services: click the dropdown and choose "Worklist"

enter the correct detail of the worklist information.

Instructions above will work only if you have dicom option enabled.

Thanks a lot for the help.

I already got the configuration. But the WORKLIST button remains disabled.

I already looked in the settings, but I didn't find anything else to activate the button.

Any Ideas?

Try reloading the software.

You need to take a look at the options. If you don't have the DICOM option with Permanent status, you would have to get (purchase) a new option activation key that will enable the DICOM networking option.

We have been using the DICOM function for a long time.

Yes, it must be activated.

The worklist was never configured.

As we now change the clinic's software, we need the Worklist

I have also restarted the machine but the button is disabled.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying the Worklist button is disabled on the Patient screen is disabled? I think we might have all been under the impression that the Worklist configuration was not possible to get to for some reason.

If the Worklist button on the Patient screen is what you're trying to select, you need to go back into the DICOM configuration screen and check the BOX in front of the WORKLIST entry on the list of server connections. Then Save and Exit. Once you do that, your Worklist button on the Patient list screen will be ACTIVE and you should be able to select it. If there is no check mark in the box, the system doesn't recognize the device as an active server connection.

Same with any DICOM server used as an Archive. If there is no check mark in the box in front of your Archive Server, you won't be able to select that device to send to. If you use a shared network folder to store exams, you won't need to do this. You just have set up the drive as a choice to send to when you a) press the End Exam button or b) use the export button on the patient screen or exam review screen. You can also checkout the buttons tab of the Connectivity section to see if there are any other operations you want to customize by pressing P1 - P6, the Start Exam, End Exam or Freeze buttons.

Let me know if the pictures don't send properly, and I'll try something else.
