This error is fairly random but when it occurs the doc cannot fluoro again until he preps the rotor for an exposure. Then fluoro works again. GE wanted to replace the optics assembly ($24,000 with labor). We fought, they fought back, they put it on, the problem didn't go away. Now they don't know what to do. Anyone experience this before. Cables between the II and the imager have been replaced as well as the optics control board.

Justin,
I re-posted your message on the Tech Nation ListServ.
I would also try contacting a second source repair facility.
They can be a wealth of knowledge, especially from prior GE employee's.

Sounds like the problem could be in the optics control bd., either power issues or communication.
