Suddenly stopped working i.e. respond to selections on the control

This morning the ultrasound tech completed for study without issue. Bed elevated/lowered without issue.

When second patient on table, the bed will not change position in response to selection of any buttons on the control. We hear a beep each time make a selection. 

Have unplugged bed for more than one minute. Plugged back in . Still not working. 

All cords seen in good working order and securely in place. 

The ultrasound table is an "Oakworks general with fowler"

Thoughts/Suggestions?

Not successful. There is a break along the cord going from hand control to bed. I am able to manipulate and isolate the area. Hand control beeps pending bend in the cord.

Thus needless to say we are looking for a replacement bed control device.

Have called Oakworks and their distributors. Because bed is 10 year old, no one makes replacement parts for this bed. Do you know of a source that might have one? 

We will ultimately replace the sonography table.

RPI does not carry this brand of equipment/parts but thank you for the link. I am keeping for future reference.

For what its worth, Oakworks does not manufacture replacement parts/service equipment after 7 years.

pull it apart, hoe many conductors in the cable, can easily order a new S-cord form any electrical supplier and then solder, crimp, reattach the ends
