System stuck on start-up screen

Can you please share the service manual so I can troubleshoot this issue. I need to know if this is the hard drive or the video board. Once the determination is made, I need to order the correct part. If you have a part number listing and break down of each part location that would be helpful.

Good Morning, the easiest way to tell if it is either your hard drive or the video processor board is by measuring your 5 Volt power. You could measure this on the external power supply on the older units, but if it is a new device, you'll need to remove the covers and measure it on the board itself. I know that there is a big difference in price between the two, but unfortunately from my experience, it usually ends up being the video board (which does include both hard drives.

Do you think both drives the image and the pc drive are  bad or only the pc drive?

Based on the year and usage of my system I leaning more towards the drive causing this issue.

IF any of the drives are bad, it'll be the OS drive.

I worked for OrthoScan/Ziehm for 6 years, and from my professional experience, It's typically the board. I can definitely understand why you would want it to be the drive $550 vs $8K - $12K, and you can certainly try replacing the drive, but be prepared. Also, the drive is deep inside the base, and there is some configurations to be done. If you need any on site assistance, feel free to call.

What is a good number to contact you? Also what are your hours of operation. Once I get onsite I would like to be able to contact you for assistance.

Thanks

My number is listed in the above thread. Unless you have been trained, and are experienced at disassembling and reassembling the MDI, it is not recommended to replace the hard drive. But you can get limited technical support from me as I am also in the field, "turning wrenches".

For the Orthoscan Mobile DI (MDI) Mini C-arm its best to try the hard drive first as its much cheaper to see if you have to change the video board, it’s the only way to see whats wrong.
