To delete studies from a GE Innova system when the database is full, follow these general steps. Be sure to proceed carefully, as deleting studies permanently removes them from the system.
Steps to Delete Studies from GE Innova:
Log In as Administrator:
- You will need administrator access to delete studies. Log in using the administrator credentials.
Access the Database Management Tool:
- Depending on your GE Innova model, you can access the database or archive management tools through the system menu.
- Navigate to the study management or archiving section, where you can manage the stored studies.
Filter or Search for Studies:
- Use filters to search for studies based on criteria like date, patient ID, or study type. It’s important to carefully choose the studies you wish to delete.
Select Studies to Delete:
- Highlight the studies you want to remove. Be sure you are selecting the correct studies, as deletion is usually irreversible.
Archive or Backup Studies (Optional):
